Installation Notes

The developer must have install rights on the PC on which the installation is run in order for the Windows Installer package ( datetimepicker.msi ) to start.

The .NET framework is not packaged with the DateTimePicker installation. It is assumed that the audience of this product already has it installed.

The component is not registered in the Global Assembly Cache at installation time. Should the developer wish to do this the easiest way is to drag the Dune5.WebControls.DateTimePicker.DLL file into the %WINDIR%\assembly special folder using Windows Explorer.

The installation does not register the component into the Visual Studio Toolbar. To do this, right-click in the Toolbox, select Customise Toolbox, select the .NET components tab, and click Browse to select the Dune5.WebControls.DateTimePicker.dll file from its installed location.

3. Changed the licensing options to : per Server, per Developer, and Enterprise. Licenses are now always deployed to the Dune5.WebControls.DateTimePicker.LIC text file in the directory of the Dune5.WebControls.DateTimePicker.dll file.

4. Known Issue : The control sometimes does not display itself when first viewed in design view in Visual Studio .NET. Switching to code view and then back to design view causes the control to display.

1. The control does not render 100% correctly when used at design-time in Visual Studio. If the DisplayFormat is changed the control does not update its display in the designer immediately.
